We were tasked with developing a control card for integration into advanced ventilation systems where flexibility, accuracy, and discreet installation were crucial. The solution needed to be able to communicate via Modbus, 0–10V, and BLE, while also handling variable airflows through a patented VAV damper. The card's role was to receive control signals for the desired air flow and provide real-time feedback – a requirement that demanded both hardware optimization and carefully designed software.
Our solution is a compact control card with high functionality. It can control air flows proportionally, either with constant pressure or variable flow, and it integrates seamlessly into existing systems. The card has outputs for 0–10V control and feedback, is prepared for integration with both analog control systems and digital systems via Modbus, and can be configured via a web interface over BLE. Installation is easy, thanks to magnetic mounting and a clear terminal diagram. This enables concealed and elegant solutions even in confined spaces, which was an important requirement for the project.
The result was a robust and modular control platform that provides precise control over air flows in complex properties. It can be used both in new construction and when upgrading existing ventilation systems. Thanks to dual Modbus circuits, the unit supports both Master and Slave communication, making it compatible with a wide range of room controllers, sensors, and higher-level systems. The ability to read and write values such as desired and achieved flow, pressure, and min/max settings creates great adaptability depending on the specific requirements of the project.
After the project was completed, our customer was able to offer a technical solution that combines precision, energy efficiency, and easy installation—without compromising on aesthetics or user-friendliness. The modular Modbus register can also be expanded as needed, making the control card future-proof.
